I remember seeing phases like 'multi year deal' and 'five fight deal' but from memory Fury and Warren were guarded in the presser as to exactly what he signed up for.
Looking back at the Top Rank press release...
All it says is "Fury will have his bouts co-promoted by Top Rank and Queensberry Promotions. The deal calls for a minimum of two bouts per year in the United States."
That's deliberately vague about all details except the number of times he would fight in the US each year.
He fought Schwarz and Wallin in the first year. Then just Wilder in the second year.
If Fury's talking about a UK fight in December, could that mean that he's coming out of contract with Top Rank? Maybe it was always a 2 year, 4 fight deal and with his promoter failing to agree the Wilder 3rd fight, he's now off the hook.
Which massively opens up the AJ fight.
