Correct. Ajagba would make Fury look incredibly fast and slick. Undefeated and just signed with Arum.

    So maybe it makes sense.

Plus a lot of people haven’t been impressed with him in the last few fights, so if top rank are starting to doubt he has potential to get anywhere near the top, then they may just feed him to Fury for an opponent

I think Ajagba is going to get cleaned out by somebody before he gets anywhere near title level anyway, so they might just let Fury do it

Fury vs Ajagba is a mismatch, Fury would box his ears off.

Fury-Wallin II would be more competitive imo.

So... Why is Lopez ('eye test') after a terrible performance ready for P4P Loma,

but Ajagba ('eye test') after a terrible performance isn't ready for P4P Fury?

          Is NSB being hypocritical again?

Lopez is world title holder. On paper, he is ready for everybody.

how about NEITHER guy is ready for the step up?

Haven't we learned that just holding a belt doesn't mean a damn thing?

Francisco Lorenzo got a belt when his hand was raised against Humberto Soto, too. And damn near killed Manny Steward on air.

If you're good enough you're ready. Problem with Ajaba is that he's simply not that good to begin with. Give him 25 matches and he's still not good enough to beat Fury or any other top level fighter.

Lopez has many fans that believe he will beat Loma, I see no problem.

Golovkin had many fans that believe(d) he would beat Carnelo, too. We saw what happened.
