I’m just happy Gassiev is fighting again.

Too bad of Gassiev, Johnson would have been a good fight to start his return. Oh well. Over under one round for Seferi? I got under

The same. I like him in the HWs. It is too bad he has lost 2 years in the ring, but the division has got room for people willing to fight to move up quickly. Seferi is a complete wet rag, a club level fighter who will do nothing but provide Gassiev a stationary target to break in at the new division and shake off a bit of the ring rust. But at least he is back in the ring.

Hope he has enough left in the tank to make a go of this.

Hmmmm…. I will take over. I bet Gassiev's corner will want him to work.

Besides, it won't be any fun when you are right unless one of us disagrees with you.

Seferi was taken out in less than 3 by feather fisted Lerena at cruiserweight. Does a 225 lb Gassiev let him get out of the first?

Better question is who should he fight next if he wins? I think Helenious would be a good match up

I don't think there's going to be much of an adjustment here for Gassiev as a heavyweight. He's fighting a 41 year old blown up cruiserweight in Seferi. Maybe if he goes a few rounds he can shake some rust off but it'd be nice to see him in with a legit heavyweight as soon as possible.

Maybe they can get him back out soon. I think he'll carry his power up with him, part of the reason why he's one of the cruisers I'm excited about making the jump to hw.

I have said this aloud since Usyk beat him. I like Gassiev at 200+ more than I like Usyk even though I like Usyk more as a boxer. Gassiev will bring power, maybe not Earth shattering power like Wilder, Joshua, or some of these young guns. But certainly enough **** in his punches to make people respect him and easily rivaling more than a few top 10 HW right now.

He may position himself real nice for some interesting fights.
