I’ve seen plenty of better fighters than Teofimo come and go. His wide footwork stance will cost him dearly against Lomachenko. As well as his lack of combinations.
He can be as ****y, arrogant or confident as he wants.
I just don’t think he’s anywhere near as good as he thinks.

Lopez wants bigger names but "no more tall guys" too.

      Lmfao!

You cant be a weight bully at 140 or 147 if they're bigger than you!

I think Lopez loses and moves up to 140. He said it 2 two years ago that he wasn’t gonna be able to make 35 much longer so if loses he’ll probably fall on that. I wouldn’t even necessarily call it an excuse because you can just look at him and tell he’s too bulky for 135. I think his youth as allowed him to squeeze down similar to Canelo when he was killing himself to make 154 til he couldn’t and then started that 155 bs.

He might even do better at 40, he looked gassed and out of ideas when he had to go 12 with that Japanese kid

Teofimo Lopez vs Felix Verdejo February 2021...... what a great match up to look forward to. Both fighters having both lost and Lopez with something to prove having undergone in October open humility surgery

Maybe not bigger, but tank and Haney are watchable.

I'd love to see Michel Rivera get a shot at Lopez should he beat Loma but they seem to be taking their time moving the kid along...

Teo should stay at 135 as long as possible. He's really not that big at all. When he stood next to Prograis on video he was clearly both smaller and shorter than Regis which surprised me because Regis is not a big 140 by any stretch of the imagination...

I think Lopez would struggle mightily with the bigger guys at 140, but If him and his team are adamant in moving up they'd better match him carefully basically start from the bottom and build up or he'll end up like Linares or Broner when they tried to bite off a bit more than they could chew.

Honestly, I also don't care to see him fight Verdejo. I even forgot Verdejo's existence until he was mentioned by Lopez. That fight would really be nothing for Lopez to gain and everything to lose if he just topped Loma.

They're are better matchups waiting for him in with the likes of Ryan Garcia, Haney, or Tank Davis.

Verdejo's career has mostly been stagnant regardless of the loss he took. He hadn't done much prior to that loss or since. If anything, it should be Verdejo calling out hard for the matchup or at least to mention someone of importance and get the W to put him back on the map.
