Totally ridiculous and of their own doing, the WBC have put themselves in a position where they literally are giving different answers to the same question depending on whose fight is coming up.

It was bad enough with Canelo but at least he was jumping around divisions taking money fights and basically an industry himself, with Loma he was just focused on undisputed 135, franchise made even less sense for him which is quite a feat for something that makes no sense to start with.
