Comments Thread For: Joseph Parker on Junior Fa: This Fight is Make or Break For Me

Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker is not taking any chances in his upcoming clash with undefeated New Zealand rival Junior Fa. The two boxers will collide, with a lot on the line, on December 11 in Auckland.

An early ko for Parker. He will need another big win to secure a title shot the only way he gets a title shot next year provided he beats Fa is if Joshua relinquishes the title to fight Fury and he then faces Ussyk for the vacant title.

Wouldn’t be surprised if either guy won , Parker has the better pro experience but he’s always struggling with every opponent for awhile now and Fa was caught sleeping and dropped recently but has been way more active with being around top guys in sparring camps .

Domestic fights always turn out to be much better then expected ,could be a good one .

I don't see it that way

Parker often struggles with opponents, see Razman Cojanu

Fa isn't fantastic but he's not awful either, and he's familiar with Parker from the Amateurs, and Parker hasn't exactly developed much so I don't think he's going to shock Fa with anything. He's still just all handspeed and basic attacks.

I'm expecting a sloppy fight that Parker edges out by 2 to 3 points

I have strong feeling Usyk will end up with WBO title and will clear everyone around Fury Joshua and probably Wilder(if he ever fight again)

Fa is a terrible fighter who is barely ShoBox level.

Hard to believe Parker is still only 28. He still has time & after the 2 losses he went back to the drawing board & has built himself back up with wins over Flores, Leapai & Winters. Those were all just rebuilding wins & now Fa is next. I expect him to win but it could be a decent fight. Parker has already won a world title & put 20 million in his bank account after his Joshua & Whyte fights. Does he still have the motivation to make another run?

The way Parkers career is panning out is so disappointing
