Casimero's words don't mean anything because he hasn't backed them up with his actions. If he was serious about fighting Inoue immediately he would've waited for a new date from ESPN instead of accepting a stay-busy fight. Also, Arum has no reason to kill the fight because he can make up for the loss of the gate money by reducing the fighters' purses like he did for Lomachenko vs Lopez. Casimero is the only one with incentive to delay the fight because he can make decent money with a couple of easy defenses then get a bigger payday vs Inoue at some point next year

if you were in casimero's position you would've think the same to take a fight rather than waiting for nothing.. he is already 8 months in US waiting for inoue and then there's no concrete date for their fight. then after casimero took the fight with micah, suddenly inoue is going to fight maloney. something isn't right, correct? why didn't take the casimero fight right away?

            Hope Maloney pulls this off.
He is an Aussie and wants the best fights.
Dont think hes gonna win but know he will give a brutal fight.
