Comments Thread For: Jason Moloney: 100% Confident I'm About To Achieve Something Very Special

The thought of facing The Monster on Halloween is not at all of any concern to Jason Moloney. In fact, it's an assignment that was well within his sights for more than a year. The 29-year old from Kingscliff, Australia enters his second attempt at bantamweight glory, chasing after one of the sport's very best pound-for-pound entrants in Japan's Naoya Monster' Inoue. The two collide October 31, live on ESPN+ from The Bubble at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Inoue's WBA and IBF titles at stake.

I like the Maloney bros, I don't think he'll win, but they go toward lights. Right now, Vegas, not some dank car lot.

Yes, both are good fighters and travelling to take good fights. Unfortunately, the only thing "special" happening for this Maloney against Inoue is likely to be a brutal KO.

im not taking away anything from maloney. but inoue took the easy route by avoiding casimero and taking this fight. i hope maloney's 5% of chance of winning will give imoue his 1st L. i'd like to give arum a lesson for protecting his fighters to lose their 0's.

Inoue didn't avoid Casimero. Their fight was canceled because of coronavirus. Also, Casimero chose to fight on the Charlos undercard instead of waiting for the Inoue fight to be rescheduled and his promoter was talking about how they have options and don't necessarily want Inoue next so if anyone doesn't want the fight it's Casimero. However, I think it's much more likely that they both still want the fight and Casimero is just trying to get Arum to raise his purse

inoue has always been a ducker.
casimero would masscare inoue and he knows it.

no, wrong, casimero is calling out inoue everytime he has a chance. if you're going to watch every small clips of his interview you'll know how badly he wants that fight and to the point he needs to do some trashtalking just to make the fight happen. arum killed the fight because he wants a big payday and that wont be happening if there's no audience involved in the fight. like what he did the bum crawford who's not a ppv guy but forcing him to be.. this is the reason why boxing becomes political pets. too many fights have been wasted and just lived only in fantasy.

Donaire left his mark. Inoue has to check his ammo.
