  • Comments Thread For: Bellew: Fury is Talking Nonsense, Joshua is Far Better Than Wilder!

Former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew is shaking his head at some of the recent statements that were made by WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. In an interview conducted earlier this month, Fury explained that he and Deontay Wilder are the two best heavyweights in the the weight class - a level above everyone else, including the unified WBA, IBF, IBO, WBO champion Anthony Joshua.

AJ surly has evolved more than wilder. He changed his style overtime and can adapt to competitors.

    Yet Fury is far better.

Make no mistake, without a shadow of a doubt, Tyson will take AJ to places he's never been. AJ just wants to get home to his wife and kids. Ain't that right, Tone?

think aj took a beating in his 1st fight with ruiz ? that's nothing compared to the KO losses he will suffer in fights with either birdlegs or The Gypsy King Tyson Fury aj is nothing more than a hyped up novice and "fast eddie " cash cow

Hes obviously a better all round boxer than Wilder but not to the extent that he will actually be able to outbox Fury for long spells, plus he doesnt have the same long distance sniper bullet one shot out of nowhere KO power that Wilder does. I dont think Fury would try to run AJ over like he did to Wilder in the rematch, he will probably fight like he did in Fury/Wilder 1 only without getting caught.

AJ turned into a timid non engaging hughie fury. Shades of hughie fury

Joshua does indeed have more skills than Wilder, but I still think Deontay would chin him in a fight.

AJ isn't slick enough to avoid that nuclear bomb of a right hand.

Agreed with everything that you said here, stylistically I think AJ presents more of a challenge for Fury than for Wilder.

I don’t see AJ beating either, but his resume for me is better than Wilder resume and his resume is a little below or equal to Fury’s resume right now.

This is why we want to see all of them fighting each other, so we can rule out the coulda, woulda, shoulda scenarios.
