    Yeah it's easy to be fast throwing flurries while shadowboxing.

    Being fast while keeping your Technique intact during a fight is whole other story

              Now I really feel tempted to put Garcia at nr 1..but it's possible that I suffer from recency bias.

              What do you guys say? Does he have a place in the nr 1 discussion?
              I would have it;

              1) Roy Jones
              1)Macho Camacho
              3)Meldrick Taylor

              Khan would come about 9th-10th Mosley in there somewhere along with Manny P. Esteban De Jesus (a forgotten man) Floyd Patterson(the fastest Heavyweight puncher) ..Mayweather maybe 25-30 as was Emanuel Augustus (when he wanted to). There were many past fighters -actually too many to name. who was astonishingly fast also, but many have never either had a chance, or bothered to look at them. There re fighters who look rather "pedestrian" when sizing up opponents, and working their way in slowly, but then, when they get the guy where they want him, let loose a blazing barrage of punches that'll catch the opponent 4-5 times on his way to the canvae.

                Yup forgot about Taylor.

                Meldrick was super fast probably the fastest I’ve ever seen.

                  No I didn't forget about Taylor, he is #3. The top guys are so fast at times that you'd need scientific instruments to test to fins out if they are that fast or it's partly optical illusion .
