As for Dillan being a big name, the first Povetkin fight only did 200k buys. If he thinks a rematch does better than Loma-Lopez, then fair play.

You guys obviously know more about the type of fights UK fans want to see than I do.
Time of day I.e 4am in the morning.

That is literally what he said the main reason for not buying the fight is.

Obviously Whyte-Povetkin does more than Loma-Lopez. Regardless of time that fights always going to outsell that fight in the UK. Whyte is one of the top PPV sellers in the UK, as sad as that is to say.

And isn't Kell Brook promoted by Eddie Hearn?
Well yeah Sky is always going to side with Eddie, whatever he does they will back him clearly

American fight fans does not even watch other countries when it comes to boxing, they cry about Ruiz/Joshua 2 due to the timing of when it would be shown in America.

Some of them talk about it like it’s not coming on at prime time in america.

No way would any broadcaster put money on a fighter like this, even BT sport aren’t. And they are associated with Arum and Fury.
I kind of agree, but only if the fight is in another country. Then, they really don't care, but get big and do it in Vegas. Party time. Canelo, Pac man, Loma, Fury, the list goes on. Non Americans Big in America. So far.

Yea the Brits are weird they only like to watch themselves instead elite boxing which has been the tradition in the USA for years. Even if it's a journeyman they out it on ppv and watch

On the way to Bali some years back to be married.I'd arranged the wedding around the Lewis v Tyson fight .Tyson bit Lewis fight postponed.Rescheduled for when I'm flying across the Indian ocean! On arrival checking in someone heard my English accent asked me the time and told me what a hammering Mike Tyson took ......
              nothing like watching it live!!

I'd arranged with the manger to record it for me (which he didn't!)....nothing like watching it live!!

No sursprise Loma has never been a draw and Teo is still huge unknown.

Arums wants Teo to win badly because he’s lost a lot of money on Loma.

Another US v UK thread. Why do Americans always start with the 'UK are dumbasses blah blah blah' and not expect some reaction?

I'm British and have American family. They only want things their own way which is then reflected in the world of sport. American Football/NFL ; not popular anywhere else. Baseball; popular in a few other countries. Basketball; same as baseball. Football (Soccer) - nope, we didn't invent it so we don't like it.

Who really gives two shits what PPV events are on? Pick the ones you want to watch and pay the money, if not; don't watch it. End of.
