Odds of Wilder dying?

Gerald Mclellan used to give domesticated dogs to his fighting dogs to rip to shreds and Adonis Stevenson was involved in sex slavery, two of the most di****able individuals in boxing and both ended up suffering disability causing injuries in the ring. I don't know if that's Karma or not but it seems it to me.I mean I’m not really that superstitious or anything, and the last thing I’d want is for any fighter to get seriously hurt. Eventually they will take this sport away from us I’m sure. But ive always thought that Wilder saying he wants to kill someone in the ring somehow ironically increases his odds of that happening to him. If there’s a God he appreciates irony I know that much.Comment

I remember seeing the Mclellan fight as a kid. You couldn’t forget it. Never wanted to see it again. I’m cdn I’ve seen Stevenson just plant people with his crab walk laser left. Then it was him who got crippled. I’ve watched the ufc since the beginning but I can’t say it matters to me. I still hate all the shots people take when they are already unconscious in that sport, but in my humble opinion you are more likely to die in a boxing ring where u can absorb culminated damage. I think all true boxing fans are yelling at the tv to stop a mismatched fight more often than hoping it continues.Gerald Mclellan used to give domesticated dogs to his fighting dogs to rip to shreds and Adonis Stevenson was involved in sex slavery, two of the most di****able individuals in boxing and both ended up suffering disability causing injuries in the ring. And I still don't believe that it was just a cut.
Hit on the ear, it starts pissing blood, and his balance goes instantly and for the test of the fight
It's very possible.
But it's still more likely to be an ear drum. And I can understand them being motivated to claim otherwise.Comment

Honestly so long as the ref would have let him keep getting up and keep going he probably could have made it to the final bell and been fine at the end of the day. Of course he'd be beaten bloody by then and he'd lose on the cards by a score that might have been the most lopsided in heavyweight title fight history. If his corner hadn't pulled him out the ref would probably put an end to it after another round or two anyway.Comment
