unfortunately how the WBC and it’s president feels about canelo is not shared by the boxing world or the television networks.

This is very factual, regardless, most of canelo fans and Mexican boxing fans in general just want to see the man fight... its Not only the fight but also about the the family gathering, the food, the music, the partying togethe. When One or Mexico’s best has a fight, it’s an event.

I think boxing fans in general would like for there to be a boxing fight big enough to generate that superbowl type vibe where people get together for it. Haven't been many of those over the past few yrs. Closest I can recall recently was Canelo vs ggg.

Since Canelo has been gone, boxing just hasn’t been the same, there’s no flair to it and no real pedigree and astuteness to the sport!

Kind of shows how far boxing has fallen in popularity. Boxing's current greatest attraction has been losing dazn money, so much so that they want to renegotiate his deal for significantly less money. Also, the memberships he generated for his last fight were looking so bad, that he and his opponent were forced to remain gloved up on sofas in the locker room for 90 min waiting for a ufc fight to finish that featured 2 guys with a combined 25 losses, in hopes that they could get more members to subscribe once that event was over. If Canelo vs Yidilgrim does somehow get made like the wbc wants, it'll be another wake up call for how little fans care when those numbers tank horribly.

All of that speaks more about DAZN's incompetence and ******ity than it does about Canelo.

Its DAZN that is being a diva.

Canelo worked his butt off to get to where he is by fighting anybody and everybody. Best resume in the sport outside of old man Pacquiao.

If DAZN doesn't know how to use him then just let him go. That way he isn't held back and can go on to shine like he always has.
