He fights flatfooted and doesnt have the greatest workrate.

I was watching the kid working out with weights and just shook my head. He is oblivious to the sweet science. He just relies on his size and power. That sheeit goes away as u get older and fatter.

He's going to lose because he is largely inexperienced at the top level. This is the right time for Lomachenko to catch him because Lomachenko is an elite boxer who isn't past his best just yet and Lopez isn't at his best yet. He can use more experience.

I disagree that a counterpuncher/boxer who focuses on timing is bad for a volume puncher. Quite the opposite imo. A good counterpuncher/boxer with timing, would actually nullify a volume puncher's volume. Mayweather, Marquez, Wladimir Klitschko, and Bernard Hopkins were all very good at this.

With that said, from the few fights i've seen of Lopez, especially his lone fight versus a top 10 LW, he didn't look like a patient counterpunching/timing type of boxer.

He relies on timing and countering and is low volume. He's facing a high volume southpaw who uses elitte angles and footwork.

The last fighter to fight like him was Guilermo Rigondeux, and Lomanchenko made him look like an amatuer with his angles and footwork.

I think Lopez will gets stopped in the late rounds
You may be right, but for the first time I just looked at a couple of his fights. He kept his hands fairly well up, fast puncher, good mover, good chin, but looked a bit amateurish at times. I thought he was pretty good, better than I imagined. About the same size as Linares, I think not quite as good, but much younger than both Linares and Lomachenko.
And Linares was Lomachenko's biggest test-so far. I was surprised that the judges had it a draw until the KO. I feel that Lomachenko will beat Lopez handily, but it will be a good fight.
