I never said they all had to be Slavic. They still fall under the post-soviet training systems and schools that makes elite fighters. Khabib and Beterbiev see themselves as Russian

But to be fair, you would have to exclusively look at the period following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Before that, Soviet boxers were simply not allowed to participate in pro boxing. So a hypothetical Soviet GOAT living during the Soviet reign would not have had an opportunity to compete against Ali etc.
