And if one wants to get nitpicky, Lewis vs. Holyfield 2 would be $24m if it had taken place in 2020 when taking into account the inflation rate. Just saying

Lol...your idol paid around 10 cruiserweights to move up to heavyweight in order to pad his record. Sit down.

Besides Fury and Ortiz, give us a name that Wilder has beat who was a legitimate top contender. It shouldn't be hard, you have 40 to pick from after all

True lol I'm surprised the $16-17m gate revenue wasn't rounded up to an even $57m.

As for "How long before people say Wilder is ducking?"...mate...Wilder paid Haymon to pay the Chinese to release COVID so he had a legitimate reason to avoid fighting Fury. Swear down, facts bro. I seens it on the ode YouTubes

Not sure if a boxer has been tickled by COVID yet....It would be 007 level if Wilder went through the hassle though.

Wilder wants a body....he now has the incentive.

              Quote from the article....

Fury has been itching to get back in the ring as soon as possible.

"He wants to fight for obvious reasons, he's been training hard as a lot of fighters have. It's not just about the money with him, it's about getting back out there

              Quote from the article....

"The last fight got the highest ever grossing fight to take place in Vegas, that is a massive amount of money, 20 million, and that's not going to be there. So you've got to find it so the guys can get the purses they are looking for."

If it was just Wilder holding things up then the fight would be completely off. Fury holds the belt, doesn't need Wilder, doesn't have anything to prove against Wilder. Fury could walk away if it was Wilder 'ducking'.

If it was just Fury that was the issue then he'd be getting served for breaking the rematch clause.

So you can safely assume neither are booking each other and that this situation is mutually agreeable.

Maybe Wilder and Fury will both take big warm ups against Stiverne and Pianeta respectively.

Hearns already dropped a stadiums revenue for Joshua vs Pulev so yeah I can see him doing Fury vs Joshua without crowd revenue.

The problem is if Fury vs Wilder drifts back to next Feb (which Bob suggested) then presuming AJ vs Pulev goes ahead. Joshua will have to start planning in Usyk .. you can't drop a belt just for the chance Fury will eventually be available.

Newsflash: the AJ fight wouldn’t be made either.
