That was an highly entertaining fight, prolly KOOTY worthy...

But a FOTY candidate ? Come on guys... I've seen similar brawling with multiple Ko's at the community center in my neighborhood when I was young... Boxing wise that was a pretty average one, if not a bad one...

If Valdez(broken jaw) vs Quigg(broken now) 12 round war didnt get a nomination I wonder if this will and it definitely deserves a nod....ko of the year nod aswell dont know if it beats Povetkins ko vs whyte.....plus we still got fights with power punchers like Teo, Inoue, Whyte/Povetkin rematch, & berchelt

I have the impression Baranchyk may have been concussed before the fight. He was cut, that much we know... but maybe he was "fragilised" during sparring leading up to the fight.

But like I said... boxing cuban magic just couldn't fix his flaws, and wasn't enough to save him.

Last time I checked it wasn't "box of the year". Baranchyk is a rough and tough customer and he tries to make the fights a brawl. He's good enough at it to get a title and defeat many boxers. Zepeda is a skilled boxer who was forced into a brawl and skilled enough to win it.

I enjoy fights of all levels. Skills can take you to a certain level, as can sheer savagery. Tonight we saw both.

                    Lol

Dude Zepeda is arguably the most skilled fighter at 140 that’s was a highly skilled brutal war like Bradley said.

What you see at the community center is bar room brawling like Ibeh v vianneto.

                    Know what your watching.

He was a flat footed big ****er from the start. When he boxed Ramirez I was surprised. He always had power.
