  • Just observed one of the more brutal displays of fisticuffs I have ever seen. That was incredible. Definitely not a fight for the purist who prefers hit/not get hit and feints and parrying, holding and clinching. Nah, no time for that boring ass ****. This was a fight fans dream fight. This was a ppv worthy fight.

    • We need gifs of all 9 knockdowns, including the one that was incorrectly ruled a slip

Well not necessarily but I think both Jermell and Zepeda should share the KOTY cuz both were phenomenal finishes!

A jab bodyshot KO finish between the #1 & #2 in the division for a unified champ and a massive left hook to finish a clear FOTY winner and one of the greatest fights of all time!

          Pick your poison

Sorry bro Jermells “ko” will not win it it’s pretty obvious Rosario exaggerate the heck out of it I don’t care if you think it was legit or not he flopped around the ring like a fish out of water, anyone who has ever boxed knows a bodyshot doesn’t do that yes it knocks your wind out but you don’t fall back eyes closed(acting like it was a headshot)and pretend to have a siezurez that “ko” reminded me of little kids playing pretending to be knocked out lol

            • Amazing. The Zepeda interview right after is very intriguing and soul bearing. Guy just went to hell and back for that victory and had one of the most honest interviews I've seen. Worth checking out

Sparring is sparring but you know what they said about Spence, turned out to be legit.

This is a guy in Zepeda who had 16 amateur fights and was learning on the job pretty much, look at the improvements he’s made in the past few years. He is seemingly finding his confidence and truly believing in himself now.

                  • I finally watched it and can only imagine how nuts the crowd would have been if there was one. No doubt Ivan's life has changed forever. He'll never be the same guy, period. Like Bradly said, he left a part of him in the ring there and it will never come back.

It was a crazy fight with not the highest level of technicality but for what both were trying to do (ktfo the other), they did it at the highest level. Too bad for Ivan but that's the name of the game. It was going to be either him or Zepeda laid out eventually and he got the short straw with all those power punches thrown.

I honestly would love to see Ivan come back after this with a win or two but I can't see him going too much further in his career. I think he's damaged goods after this.

Props to Zepeda and I'm exciting to watch him again now. Guy has freakish power. If you compared Ivan to Zepeda on looks, you would think, no way does Zepeda got pop, but apparently he does. If anything, his arms looked real strong. He definitely knows how to throw a power punch.

                    • Another thing I noticed after rewatching was that Zepeda never looked wobbly when knocked down it was more of the force of the shot that would take him off his legs cuz Baranchyk is Avery heavy handed but Baranchyk was on wobbly legs after almost every KD he suffered.

Zepeda can crack with 27KOs In 33wins you know he hits.
