I am not going to disagree with you on that. Promoters only care about their bottom line. They will dump a fighter and pick up another one in a heart beat. This is the point I was trying to get across. From GBP and DAZN's eyes the opponent needs to also bring something to the table in order to deserve the high payout that comes with fighting Canelo. Since they have to pay Canelo so much, this hurts the match making portion so much because now it is all about hype and what potential fight can generate the most money and not necessarily which fight has the potential to be great.

Nope. I am a mouth peace for myself only. I am also a realist and see things for what they are not for what I want to pretend they should be. Pro Sports are a business, not a charity. Every fighter in the world fights for money. With money comes people wanting to exploit them and make a profit off of them. You have agents, promoters, managers etc all taking a slice of your pie. Canelo was given a very lucrative and at the time the richest contract for an athlete. Now his handlers are in a serious dilemma because Canelo is getting fed up with the politics of boxing. Who knows if Canelo wants to fight all of these good boxers or if he wants to cherry pick and get paid millions. One thing is for sure, he wants more control over his career and destiny.

Like I have said numerous times. When Jermall brings something of value to the table that everyone can profit off of then he has room to talk, until then, selling 100k PPV with a "stacked" card is terrible. He may approach daddys table when he can prove that his fans will buy the PPV's and pay for his share of the millions.

He may not be doing the same numbers as before we will never know since he no longer does PPV but I can tell you that he still has more views than both Charlo's combined.

I have not denied anything you have just said. If the fight got made would I watch it? Sure. Who do I think would win? Canelo no problem. Why do I think the fight does not get made? Politics. DAZN/GBP do not see Jermall as a big draw so there is very little reward for Canelo beating Jermall and making little money when he could be fighting someone who is a bigger draw and make them more money.

Stick to arguing about why you think Jermall would win and why you think he deserves a shot (personally he has not beaten anyone good enough to get a shot at Canelo). Do not try to get involved in the politics of boxing if you do not agree with them and just want to rage about how it sucks.
