Stick to arguing about why you think Jermall would win and why you think he deserves a shot (personally he has not beaten anyone good enough to get a shot at Canelo). Do not try to get involved in the politics of boxing if you do not agree with them and just want to rage about how it sucks.

From the beginning I have said that the politics of boxing will not allow Jermall v Canelo. Jermall is not a big enough draw. Until he becomes a bigger star with more draw power he will not get a shot at the lottery.
Cotto: Was paid more than Canelo and had his own deals in place because he was already a proven draw.
Khan: Had a good size following from Europe along with his own deals to bring in views to the PPV. He had value=he brings in the money
Smith: Had a smaller size following from Europe, was not paid as much as previous two and you can see the numbers in the PPV were not as good.
Chavez Jr: This was a grudge match with years in the making. This was to determine who was the best Mexican boxer at the time. Regardless what you think of the value of this fight and how it improved Canelo's stock (because in reality it did very little to improve it) Chavez Jr was a bigger name than Jermall at the time and had his own following and you can see this in the PPV numbers.
Gennady Golovkin: Do I really need to explain?
Rocky Fielding: Was basically a free fight to promote Canelo on DAZN and Rocky was paid very little compared to Canelo's recent opponents.
Danny Jacobs: Big name in the division, had gone up against GGG and did well and won in many eyes.
Kovalev: Very well known champ with his own following regardless how old he is. Has been champ and at one point the boogey man in the division.
So please tell me what does Jermall bring to the table to deserve a shot at the lottery? His following is not even on the level of Smith. Are you saying that Jermall is fine with getting paid what Fielding was paid? Because an offer of 7M apparently was given and he turned it down.
Canelo may not fight the best but he does fight quality opponents and he gets rich doing so. He is under contract with 2 different companies so they control who he fights. They are in the business of making money and why would they waste a spot at fighting Jermall to bring in decent numbers when they can get a bigger international name to make more money?

Canelo way ahead of the game. This is why I said Jermall gotta make a real statement if he wants Canelo. I’d Caleb Plant is a good start, and if he KO’s Plant, I’d definitely push for Canelo to fight Jermall.
