Some flippant comments. The scary thing about the covid is that it affects people differently. The majority of the deaths related have been to those in high risk categories but I also know individuals that passed away who were in good to very good shape in their 30s with no pre-existing conditions.
Additionally, I know of people who weathered the initial infection only to have lingering issues.
Hope Eddie gets better soon.Comment

I had it in late march and was in rough shape for about 6 weeks so it varies case to case, the real struggle is fighting through the lung damage and long term fatigue.
I was jogging 3 times a week and playing football every weekend but just walking the dog is hard work at the minute....its no joke mateComment

The regular flu kills healthy young people every year as well. Let's protect the elderly and those most vulnerable but for the rest of us, let's move along.Comment

Have you talked to your doctor about if that's permanent damage or if it'll go back to normal or improve eventually? I keep hearing things like this with some but not hearing what doctors are telling folks.
Honestly I was never worried about dying of coronavirus but the lasting damage it seems to have on some is crazy to think about. Seen plenty of relatives who abused themselves when they were younger & live in some degree of pain or misery in their later years. Never wanted to be in that situation so tried to take better care of myself, but this whole situation seems like it could fook your sh^t up cuz you forgot to wash your hands or didn't have a mask despite decades of prior favorable habits to a healthy life.Comment
