That’s sucks for the Charlo bro’s who are from Texas and that Doubleheader PPV would’ve been a real treat for their fans in Texas!

I mean can you imagine the crowd in that 6th round between Charlo and Dervyachenko where they both went toe to toe for like 1 min!?

Or how about the famous Jab bodyshot KO Jermell did on Rosario? The crowd would’ve went absolutely crazy!

Also, Khabib and Tank/Santa Cruz fights are probably the PERFECT example of polar opposite interests. I highly doubt there's more than a handful of fans that would feel torn about having to pick one to purchase. You either love foreign Khabib "man mounting" other men and rolling around on the canvas, or you're a fan of Tank and his swag or the Hispanic fighting culture. Personally I have ZERO interest in khabib. And I'm excited about Tank and Leo. There's a crowd that feels the opposite and that's fine. But I assure you that hardly anyone interested in tank gives a **** about a khabib. And vice versa
Exactly. They are different sports, no relation. I don't think a real boxing fan cares about MMA or the UFC crap.

          Smart move by Señor Haymon.

King Leo El Famoso Terremoto Santa Cruz will become the first Mexican boxer to become a 5 weight champion so it's only right to place this monumental event in a Mexican stronghold city like San Antonio.

          Can't wait!

People make a big deal about the prices and I agree they are too high but so are the UFCs and half the time only 2-3 fights are good and the rest are drag out performances. Before this pandemic it was not hard to go to a hooters and watch both for free nowadays they should've lowered the price because they know people are struggling nationwide but that's one thing they haven't done. 39.99 is a solid price anything higher is too much in my opinion especially if the card is not extremely stacked and this is without the pandemic lol but that's never going to happen.
And again as I stated before, it's two totally different groups of people interested in this fight. You're on a boxing site discussing "because of the style Gaethje comes with the co-main is not bad either". I'm excited about Tank and Leo, and I don't even know what a Gaethje is, and have no clue who the co-main would be even if you told me. Unfortunately, I realize that boxing and UFC are ******ly being intertwined more now days. So I'm not being naive about it. But out of 1000 fans, 850+ are dead set on which one they would watch, and >150 would actually have to "make a choice" on buying one of the two. Moving dates had NOTHING to do with Khabib in this case. If it was GGG vs Bertibiev or something, I could see your point. But not with Tank/Leo being compared to a Khabib fight.

Good for you dude I like both and I always favor boxing over UFC but sometimes you just have to call it like it is Khabib is an international star and Gaethje fights pure stand up even though he was a stand out wrestler it's the most intriguing match up for both of them regardless if you like the sport or follow it.

Like I said before you used to be able to go to most sports bars and watch BOTH for free so there is no picking at least for me if they are both solid cards I just use 2 TV's not that hard if it's a crap show and there is boxing on I just stick to boxing plain and simple.

I think you mean boxing and MMA not boxing and UFC because UFC is just one organization in the entire sport that's being naive.

Sure. I guess that's what I mean. But what I mean most is that if you're the type that has to wrestle with which one of these fights to watch, YOU are in the minority, with that mindset. Not that it's a bad mindset, or a wrong one. Just like you said.... you do you. That's fine. But there's a lot more people that are certain on which they'd watch, than there are people that wanna watch both.
