WWE does a PPV every month.

Boxing does maybe 4 (at the most) a year.
4 in a year? Try almost triple that. In 2019 there were 11 PPV boxing matches and not a single one rated PPV status...
    Pac vs. Broner
    Spence vs. Garcia
    Crawford vs. Khan
    Pac vs. Thurman
    Spence vs. Porter
    Wilder vs. Ortiz
    Joshua vs. Ruiz I
    Whyte vs. Rivas
    Loma vs. Campbell
    Taylor vs. Prograis
    Ruiz vs. Joshua II

In 2020 there’d be just as many if not more if it weren’t for the pandemic.

WWE and UFC have an enormously larger fan base than boxing. In addition they have many more matches offered including marquee matches that aren’t PPV. They also match up elite fighters in their PPV cards and do so continuously. Boxing is becoming a fossil because they don’t know how to attract new audiences. No one that’s new to the sport is going to fork out 70$ to see garbage match ups.
There truly isn’t a single boxer in my view that rates PPV.

He's referring to US PPV. Heck, a regular SHO card featuring Pascal will be PPV in Canada.

Good decision by the PBC to move off of the October 24 date. Khabib has star power and that could have impacted some of the buys. Probably not a lot as Tank and the UFC fan bases are different, but still some may have chosen the UFC over the Tank fight.

If fans are going to be allowed for Tank/LSC, then it is a lock that Spence/DSG also takes place in Texas with fans? Even when that fight was announced, it was reported the venue was yet to be confirmed as they were looking around to see if they can have fans in the arena/stadium.

I mean it's smart business wise in terms of competition the Khabib-Gaethje match is much more intriguing and not because of Khabib but because of the style Gaethje comes with the co-main is not bad either.

People make a big deal about the prices and I agree they are too high but so are the UFCs and half the time only 2-3 fights are good and the rest are drag out performances. Before this pandemic it was not hard to go to a hooters and watch both for free nowadays they should've lowered the price because they know people are struggling nationwide but that's one thing they haven't done. 39.99 is a solid price anything higher is too much in my opinion especially if the card is not extremely stacked and this is without the pandemic lol but that's never going to happen.

C'mon, y'all....we know why they moved the fight. Fat boy and his team probably already called and made it clear that Tank's gonna need more time to make weight. Can't believe y'all, smh...this one was too easy.

                Great point!

Problem is...people are still gonna complain anyway. Whether the fight's $40 or $75, people will still cry.

As soon as this Pandemic eases up and PPV prices rise again, guess who we'll hear whining? Yep, you got it....NSB fans.

What I find funny is people complaining about the prices but they ALWAYS find their way into the forums on fight night...begging for streams and STILL complaining.

                This is where we are.

Halloween boxing should be cool. They should find a way to get Joshua Franco on the undercard! Him and Barrios would bring in plenty of hometown fans.

I’ve been a fan of Santa Cruz but this a sacrificial lamb PBC is cashing out. This isn’t even an above average Showtime network fight and nowhere near PPV.
So what if he becomes a sacrificial lamb? It’s not like he’s done anything significant in his career. About time he fights a live opponent. He’s lucky to have even gone this far. His career has been built like a decoration
