What about modern era ? 1980s and up?

Arabaham, Froch, Dawson & Kovalev. That’s four.

Plus Rodriguez, Berrera, Green were decent fighters at the time Ward fought them.

A lot of people forget a lot of fighters if they don’t have a record of knocking people out. That’s not an good example.

When you have a fighter like Bernard Hopkins tell a young Andre Ward there is no money in the world to make me fight you, when Hopkins fought Pavlik, Tarver, Dawson, Cloud, Calzaghe, Wright.

To me that speaks volumes to
                  Andres Greatness.

I’m biased, I remember Dre coming up the ranks. I remember talking with people On his own team! That agreed with me that Dre was too small for the olympics.

1 of the last U.S fighters to
                  Win gold possibly ever.

Top 3 undeniable 168 pounders and a top 20 all time LHW on accomplishments.

I was one of Wards first “haters”. Consider me now his biggest supporter.

                  Great fighter.

Whiny little poot too, moaning about all the $$$ JoyBoy was making to his peanuts. Wouldn't fight GGG at 164, but willing for JoyBoy at 162!
Didn’t GGG and his promoters at that time were calling out everyone from 160 & 168lb and Ward called them out at 168 and they got quiet ?

I was thinking Kessler, Froch and Kov. Abraham got owned by Froch, and was always undersized for SMW. Can't count Dawson for crap. He was so drained the dude could barely move. And yes, Dawson brought it upon himself with his trash talk, doesn't make it a good win.
