this all started when DAZN rightfully denied his attempts to fight some unknown fighter coming off a loss for the vacant wbc belt.

IMHO Jermall Charlo definitely deserves a shot at Canelo without a doubt! The problem is Al Haymon asking for a minimum of 30% to Jermall Charlo. That was even before the Derevyanchenko fight. The other problem is that Jermall didn’t fight anyone for the WBC belt, so the purse bid rule is extremely (LMAO) a comedic situation since it means Jermall would’ve be getting even more just for a technicality/rule without having fought someoneZ

When you really think about it, that’s the same thing as getting a BONUS without having earned it, and the LDBC PBC kids ironically fumble the purse bid situation as a duck!!!

Tbh a lot of Charlo fans and Canelo haters don’t understand splits or how fighters move. Back in the day fighters really talked about splits in detail and asked “who you fought.” Jermall Charlo never focuses on split detailed. They know exactly what they are doing and in all honesty it is true cowardice. Not so much being afraid of Canelo. No not at all. PBC fighters are more afraid of objecting Al Haymon. He has them seriously brainwashed and takes advantage of their trust and naive ness.

Of course Jermall Charlo would fight Canelo for the purse Oscar gave. That’s crazy money! The other problem is that Haymon collects 10% off any PBC fighter. Jermall knows that. That’s why they are all sticklers for pay.

But yeah Jermall deserves the fight. He just needed to man up and tell Haymon that he wanted it all costs.

Daniel Jacobs had three losses, Rocky fielding was an overachiever and Sergey Kovalev was a past his prime washout with three losses; With two of them coming by way of KO.

Why doesn't he fight the undefeated 168 lbs David Benavidez or the undefeated 175 lbs champion Artur Beterbiev if he's truly the P4P best fighter in the world.

Agreed on fighting anyone at 168, hes gotta pick a top dog. He doesnt have the size, length for 175 but would be huge achievement against a top champion.

Danny had 2 losses. Rocky Fielding over Brandon Adams. Sergey Kovalev was a Champion, just like Jeff Horn was never on the level of Thurman or Spence. If Wladimir Klitchko was KO’d various times before becoming a staple then Kovalev too was worth just like Wlad was to AJ or Fury. Also Manny was KO’d in more brutal fashion than Kovalev yet Floyd chose to fight the smaller man.

What’s easier, Floyd fighting Manny or Canelo fighting Kovalev?

I still see a problem with DAZN taking advantage of this if it ever becomes law because DAZN claims that it is not paying the full $40 million because Canelo need to fight "premium" opponents. They define premium fights as fights with GGG, a couple of MMA fighter and Oscar. The epidemic is not the stated reason DAZN is withholding the money. And that makes sense because DAZN makes its money from subscriptions and more people are staying home these days and streaming.

Your question is exactly what GBP wouldve said to Jermall and Haymon right before the Franchise status. What’s worse is why would you want to do TRADITIONAL business with an entity that stole your fighters behind the scenes. Haymon and his followers might believe stealing is fine or that he didn’t at least in a diplomatic way, however, you can’t expect GBP to even entertain business there forward. The PBC kids know this but because we live in a world of racism they use that chip over the shoulder to fabricate that Canelo “ducked” Charlo. Just like the poster here The Big Dunn says Canelo ducked Jermall Charlo. Man at this point, as with the older GGG narrative, fans eventually tire of it... as long as the fighters fight then its all good.

Bernard and Oscar have lost before in fights, they don’t care so much to preserve Canelo’s resume and they’d bet Canelo to beat Jermall. The styles alone and technique show Canelo is the superior fighter. Can Charlo have moments? Sure! But the bet is on Canelo to hurt Jermall. Canelo can stagger that weight as we saw with Jacobs, Fielding, Kovalev. Casuals don’t see these things because they don’t hit heavy bags... there were many times when Canelo’s power punches would budge GGG off his feet when he shelled up.
