I don't think they're the same as boxers or in achievements at all. But.... I did follow seniors career enough to know that he was 100% a sore loser and in the rematch with frankie Randall, he said he couldn't continue due to a cut, the fight went to the scorecards where he was fortunate enough to get a decision in a fight that it looked like he was losing. That's just the truth. Otherwise he's a hall of famer and his sin should even be allowed to buy a ticket to visit the hall of fame.Comment

It's easy enough to say, oh he was a quitter when watching fights from your tv. You do realize how many fights Chavez had before fighting Randall right? He was 89-0-1 entering their first fight. Call him a quitter if you want. I just think that's a bit disrespectful given what he accomplished and the fact that he didn't lose a fight until post 90 fights in. Nobody is invincible. Eventually your body starts to break down. If the bulk of fighters today had that many fights in their career, they would be so damaged, they'd quit in the early rounds against frindge contenders.Comment
