Arum didn't want Ramirez options limited in the WBSS which includes Arum's money and he made the right choice because the WBSS was in serious trouble with huge delays and financial situations with the WBSS as it turned out. Taylor and Prograis almost pulled out because of the issues with the WBSS. And Ramirez gained titles outside of the WBSS as well. I don't see Ramirez as being in any way afraid of the unification fight.
