When did i say AJ was great??? See, there you go again. Have you got a disability or something? AJ is a very good fighter with more to prove if he's to reach the level of great. Same with Fury. We actually judge our fighters properly and not cast them off as ATG's with nothing to show for it like Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Marciano... All of them combined don't even bring back a great resume. Most grotesquely overrated fighters the world of boxing has ever seen to insulting levels. I never bought it, and never will. I'm not backwards.

AJ did lose to Ruiz after making the mistake of swinging square on with hooks against the smaller man with faster hands and paid the price. And what?? Do you know anything about boxing history to see the many big name fighters had the same thing happen to them in losing for what ever reason to a big underdog? Turpin/Robinson. Foreman/Young. Morales/Raheem. Barrera/Jones. It happens. But to come back in an immediate rematch when most were saying you'd be beat again in the same fashion shows what AJ is all about. He dominated after identifying the problem in the first fight and left Ruiz looing like a cabbage and taking back what was his.

I don't judge fighters by their personality but by who they fight and beat. It doesn't matter where they come from. But if so many cowards and cheats come from one area, then i'm going to acknowledge it. You should try it some time.

Knowledge doesn't come with how many posts you make or don't make. You either have or you don't. Nothing worse than arrogance to go with that lack of knowledge filled with the usual and typical nonsense many on this site put forward.

Sorry, but i put £400 on Lopez to win. Just can't go and get my winnings due to the bookies in my area being closed due to covid. Lopez is a natural 140 lb boiling down to 135 while Loma shouldn't be out of the SuperFeather division. He's crossed the line of being maxed out at 135 with every fight he's had there. Look at how close the Linares and Campbell fights were. The Lopez fight was close too. So it's not really something special when looking at the facts. Lopez was huge compared to Loma.

You'll see how good Lopez is when fighting against fighters his size. But i don't hold out much hope as i wasn't really impressed with his performance to be honest. A few things caught my eye, as it will with others now we've seen a bit more of him at a good level. We'll be seeing pretty soon though. Lopez just needs to not get ahead of himself otherwise his defeat will come quicker than it should. But we'll see.

It wasn't a theory either. It was cold hard facts. One loss for a European doesn't change anything. Nor does it change my analysis of Americans getting, for the vast majority of the time, two wins of merit before they're sent packing. This is Lopez's first win of merit because Commey was nothing more than decent. He's fringe level and not world class. Yeah, it was a good fight. I enjoyed it. And with Loma being a pretty big favourite with most, Lopez getting it shook up boxing. But favourites have been getting beat for most of the year after coming back after covid. So i considered it ****** not to place a bet on Lopez. Add in the fact he was the bigger fighter, then i could be quids in. The odds where too great to turn down to be fair. Although i wasn't sure either way who i thought would win and couldn't actually split them. But with the two things i mentioned being on the side of Lopez, i had to do it. It paid off really nicely too. So no complaints from me.
