I don't think I've really seen any people at all say Derevy was 'robbed.' Maybe one or two people. Some, like myself, thought he edged a close fight. But I think anyone with a working brain knows that Charlo was always going to get the nod in a close fight, as he is the A-side prospect/rising star. It's just how it goes in boxing. As such, I have no issue with the result as it was expected, though I can't really find 7 rounds for Jermall unless I was looking for them. And the scorecards are sad. Derevy got much better cards (for a similar, maybe even worse performance) vs Jacobs and GGG when he fought on THEIR network lol.

Others on here seem to feel it was a draw or that it was a close fight and he deserved maybe at least 5 rounds. I think a lot of the negative commentary on that fight has been about the scorecards. Haven't see any real hating on Jermall even though some of you really want to push that narrative.

The Jermell KO was goofy. People are going to talk about it.

Well he's definitely been doing that to me lol. But yeah I really have a lot of racist scoring tendencies...with my feeling 100% that Wilder got a draw vs Fury, and that Floyd beat Manny cleanly. And that Loma was tied with Linares before the KO etc etc etc. To some people everything is about race...

1) the cards showed that Derevy never had a chance, based on what everyone was saying was going on in the fight. People generally, from what I was reading on here and on twitter, seemed to feel anywhere from 6-6, to maybe 8-4 to Charlo was a reasonable score. Everyone agrees the 10-2 card was awful as it was a close competitive fight.

I commented that it is sad that in a lot of fights, the B side has no chance to win on the cards, as was obviously the case here. I didn't need to watch the fight to know that. I just needed to look at what everyone felt about the fight and then look at the cards.

2) I then watched the fight myself to see how impressive Charlo looked, fully expecting him to win in impressive fashion. I didn't see that and I scored the fight according to what I saw.

- -Scoring in boxing is deliberately non transparent and not logical, ie 10 point must where in a title fight each fighter starts with 360 points divided by 3 and then incrementally deducted from there for starters.

Even rds going to the money fighter old school stuff and the reason fight fans howl so after every other fight.

And most of the howlers are the ones whose stakes went up in smoke, ie the 114-114 Canelo/TUE 51-0 card in a nothin fight of action.

this might be true but jermall still lost to korobov and jermell to harrison so they are still losers just like loma is a loser for losing to salido

Jermall should rematch Korobov and Derevy first before thinking of going to other directions.

Oh yeah, he needs to fight Eubank Jr as well. He outperformed him with Korobov and showed him what true power means.
