Korobov got hurt and then the pandemic happened.
Half of boxing is on the shelf right now.

Was stoopid to sign Chavez Jr and then put him against a light-heavyweight considering size advantage was all he had going for him at 160.

But if you mean deals that were financially bad for the fighter then can't think of any

Who cares how cool Al Haymon is if he’s holding up the sport? Boxing fans nowadays are weird. They used to be fans of the fighter’s.

          And what happened with Quillin?

A flop with Quillin is what happened. Al Haymon convincing Peter to not GGG or turn down the Roc Nation deal. Quillin could’ve at least been on the undercards of Ward or Cotto. Kid Chocolate was a suspect one... I think his win with N’Dam was an anomaly...

Then when Haymon thought the worst case scenario for Quillin was to at least beat Angulo... it flopped!! Then Haymon thought well maybe he could do something with Angulo late and now that has flopped...

Pretty much this ^^^. The way some worship some of these guys is laughable.

You have Ronny Shields who as a trainer, leaves his boxers just because they left Al Haymon to sign with someone else.

Haymon has prevented a lot of potential great matchups from happening, only allowing fights that would benefit him.

When he first came onto the scene he wasn’t like this. He was just an adviser who looked out for the best interests of the boxer. Now that he has become a “Promoter” without a licence, he basically looks out for his business interest first, then the boxers. Even if his own interest doesn’t help the boxers career, he would go with what is best for his own career.

Am not ashamed that I backed him during his first few years in boxing, but am not a sheep. I started criticising his business model when he changed it all.

I don’t think fans in here have ever seen a contract between Al Haymon and a fighter. Bad question.

lol...i genuinely feel bad for alot of you...constantly complaining that al haymon is "holding up the sport"....you guys are so dumb its sad.....

hes no worse than any other guy running boxing....one might argue hes better...but at worst hes no worse....but he has a target on him because alot of you cant stand floyd...or guys that look and act like floyd....

how many fighters you know name their kid after their "Advisor"? cause santa cruz did....you ever hear paul williams speak about haymon? i have and its glowing....and p will is an afterthought now and in a wheelchair...but haymon is still in contact with him all the time and p will is taken care of

qullin is still a millionaire and if done right has money that should last him a lifetime if he spends it and invests it wisely....haymons fighters are well taken care of and he has made a ton of good fights

its just losers like you who point out every mismatch/showcase fight he does and complain about it like hes the only guy who ever puts these kind of fights on...lol...its pathetic how much some of you loathe haymon and how delusional you can be about his practices

Quillin made more vs Danny Jacobs than what he was offered for Korobov.
