You don't seem to recall the Castillo fight where he beat the hell out of Mayweather, landing twice as many punches and being robbed, like others, for instance Maidana where Mayweather changed the gloves at the last moment for pillow type, and still got a bashing.

When he fought Augustus, he'd surely have been KO'd if Emanuel had a punch, and a good corner. He got quite a surprise there, against a 131 lb "lightweight", with 22-16 record..
Just think of it, How cautious he was in going up to lightweight, and picking an underweight guy with 16 losses who'd had only 1 win in his last 4 fights, and 8 rd fight...this brilliant unbeaten champion.

In the opinion of many, even most, Castillo won that fight and was robbed by Mayweather's tame judges. And Maidana most likely also won.

No harm done, just that we have different opinions and recollections.

I still recall Larry Merchant, when at ringside at a Mayweather fight, saying, "I can't recall ever before seeing people walk out during a top champion's fight, except a Mayweather fight". (slightly paraphrased)

I think any non biased poster would realize that a prime Oscar beats Floyd.

There fight was razor close and a lot of the media ringside had Oscar winning.

So Castillo equals 7 loses and being put on Ice numerous times, and then floyd beat him again straight after to take away doubts.

Mannys resume does not come near Floyds if you want to debate their resumes head to head start a thread and I will show you fight for fight just how much BS is in Manny resume.

Numbers dont lie, weights and measures dont lie, the form of opponents going into fights doesnt lie.

I'm not talking about Castillo's 7 losses. It was Castillo's 53rd fight and he'd had 5 losses. He had been the chief sparring partner for Julio Cesar Chavez for 7-8 years and was already well shop worn when he fought Mayweather. Mayweather got a surprise, as he never would fight anyone unless he was sure he would win.

I never mentioned Pacquiao; why do you...?? If you and I debate, you have to stick to facts and the subject.

Castillo had suffered 4 TKO's (NO KO's) when he fought Mayweather. NOT "put on ice"... what an exaggeration...Just the sort of opponent that Mayweather would choose. I think they were all eye cuts, or other injury, because the opponents were not any real quality..

It began with you answering my post where I said Manny had lost 7 times, you jumped to Floyd and Castillo instead of addressing the 7 losses that I commented on.

So dont preach about sticking to facts, because our convo started with Manny and 7 losses not with Floyd and Castillo.

It began when you said ( a REAL exaggeration) that Mayweather had been "beating the best" and been "buzzed twice in 20 years:... THAT'S what started our discussion. So I reminded you of Castillo and Maidana.

Facts. Otherwise all is O.K.. No problem between us, just strong difference of opinion. And a little "forgetfulness"..

If you cant hurt Oscar, he wont be discouraged trying. I think a prime Oscar beats a prime Mayweather by decision. Both started at 130lbs so you can all pick at what weight they can fight.

Mosley can be outboxed but like Oscar, if you cant hurt him or get his respect, he'll be there til rd12 trying. Maybe Mayweather by close decision.

Man its too late to chase your tail, you brought up Castillo in response to this post where I was talking to someone else. You are now trying to justify yourself for changing the subject, regarding Castillo he never buzzed Floyd in actuality it was 3 times Floyd been buzzed Corley Mosley and Maidana, you do understand the meaning off buzzed right ?

"And Manny has been KOED and lost 7 times, Manny has been cracked cooked and fried so I got no idea how you can place Manny on a pedestal and so much emphasis on Floyd being buzzed twice in his career of 20 yrs fighting and beating the best of his era in multi weight classes , dam weird and what was you on going about bias ?"
