He is not that scary and has never defeated anyone that good. He is not a full champion yet just a jr champion. Lopez hits harder and is more of a boogie man and I think he would beat Haney.

I prefer to take Lomas word for it was given to him as a gratitude from WBC for being such a awesome champion and in no way did Loma know he had to swap belts.
Loma won that belt by beating Campbell, Haney got his in the mail. lol.
Edit-and if he did know he had to swap belts justs means the WBC franchise belt is the golden standard.
      Regular belt is just that-REGULAR.
Furthermore what the OP is doing is substituting factual details/reports, as motive.
That's judging an individual's intent and heart/mind on a matter. - Which is entirely conjecture and speculation. It's like knowing part of a story and making the rest fit your personal opinion and narrative.

For example, if you take a day off of work for 3 weeks straight and me, on the outside, determine that you're just lazy and probably have some addiction problem. Meanwhile, I have no idea that your wife has cancer and you are struggling to organize her treatment, raise 3 kids, and stay afloat. All the signs might support my assessment, but other explanations cannot be ruled out. So then I take it upon myself to spread this inaccurate assumption, simply because I don't like you or maybe cuz you stand in the way of my friend getting a job.

With all respect I understand this is a social forum where we can BS and talk shmack, but in reality the OP is doing precisely what I illustrated in my example. - Trying to impose his opinions as fact - .
None of us know what goes on behind closed doors or in private, and per the responses in this thread, very few agree with the thread starter's biased assumption.

So would you go as far as to say Haney is being victimized ?

Haney is very young and will get a chance to fight the top 3 or 4 lightweights soon and we will see if he is as good as you think he is.
You just can’t please everybody no matter who you pick. I remember Lopez entering the scene first and called Loma out. He sure made alot of noise about it

You do realize that everyone on that list would be fighting down if they fought Haney aside from Fortuna, right?

Not only that, Loma already agreed to fight him after Lopez.

We're in a fricken pandemic ffs dude

Fights are getting made because of promoter and manager interests. Haney is a boogyman? Not sure if serious...

Garcia is stepping up and fighting Luke Campbell which is miles above any competition that himself OR Haney have ever faced. Campbell is a top 5 guy in a deep division...former gold medalist. I find it hard to believe pretty boy Ryan is scared. Garcia fought Haney in the amateurs and they had six close fights, both winning three.

You think Teo is ducking Haney? He is fighting one of the best pound for pound fighters in the sport right now!
