    Keef once said he could beat Floyd. So did Manny.

    It's a funny thing, this sport.

    Manny couldn't drop Broner and in fact, Broner managed to get 4 rounds off of him.

    Manny dropped Vargas. Obviously dropped Lucas. Then dropped Keef.

    Keef was dropped off the same shot and technique that Chino used to drop Broner, but worse, because he just thought Manny couldn't reach the chin going backwards and wasn't prepared for it.

    You would have thought that Manny would have caught AB slipping at least twice if Chino could do it. But he failed.

    Manny's workrate was just as high against Broner as it was against Keef. Broner's movement was giving Manny problems at points and he only got tagged when he stood still. Same as Keef.

    Yet Manny's workrate against Floyd was bare near nothing despite Floyd being right in front of him the vast majority of the fight.

    So...why is that, against Manny:

    Keef moves --> gets nailed.
    Broner moves --> gets nailed (but not dropped)
    Lucas moves --> gets nailed
    Vargas moves --> gets nailed

    Floyd stands in front of him and ends up taking 10 rounds from him.

    What is it different with Floyd vs. these other people where they just get hammered over 7-8 rounds when actually TRYING to MOVE, yet when Floyd stands right in front of him, Manny refuses to throw and when he does throw, misses?

        Difference is Floyd has an amazing defence and counter punching ability.

        None of the others do.

          Which begs the question why Chino was able to get through and didn't mind keeping the workrate up yet Manny for some reason refused to throw 1000 punches like he would normally do.

            Because Pacquaio is a mid range fighter who excels when fighters are aggressive or stationary so he can step back and use his hand speed and angles.

            Pacquaio struggles with guys who can make him miss and counter him. None of those guys excel in those areas so Pacquaio was able to outbox them.

            Floyd is the worst style match up for Pacquaio.

            Maidana on the other hand is a guy who’s bigger and stronger than Floyd and uses his weight and rough tactics to make him uncomfortable, which isn’t a good style match up for an aging Floyd.

            It all comes down to styles.

              Styles and fear of comitting, Maidana had none and went all out, Manny was propped by a lightning right hand real early and was too scared to commit for fear of counters, Floyds distance control and angles destroyed what ever plan Manny had, for years Floyd said how he would beat Manny and that it would be easy work, it was.
