Adrien Broner has confirmed that his return is being planned for January vs Ivan Redkach. It would be his first fight in two years and almost four years since his last win. Said 140lbs is his best weight, though he's adamant he could still make 135lbs "easy". [Last Stand Podcast]

If Broner could make 135 or even 140 easily then he would have done it already. I would love to see him get it together but the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior so I'm not holding my breath.

Broner has a lot of fans. That never learn.

I used to root for him but I "learned" after the Mikey Garcia fight. That was a winnable fight for him and all he did was shell up and shake his head after getting hit all night. Then he finally decided to go for it in the 9th round but it was too little, too late as usual.

I think he would have had a nice run at 135 if he had kept his weight in check.
