Look at how Canelo's career has gone. He had to resort to catch weights because his body was not reacting to the weight cuts like he wanted or was accustomed to.

Hopefully Jaime can adapt and learn to box with better defense. His defense has always been his weak spot and he needs to improve on that if he hopes to beat the top guys in his new division.
Lol. Canelo been looking filled on the scale. How long was Danny Jacobs at 160? The only time Canelo looked deprived was with Mayweather and Smith.

And you don’t know what catchweights are. Are you saying Canelo was draining Lara, Kirkland and Angulo? Canelo enjoyed draining? Lol. Ok

Munguia and Zurdo Ramirez are the most protected fighters in boxing.

Guess you can’t call yourself a boxing fan, when you don’t even know that Munguia ain’t no longer a champion. Also, Tureano ain’t no can, he’s been in there with the likes of Dervyrechenko and Stevens this is a solid test for any 23 yrs old fighter especially Munguia.

Canelo has only been looking filled lately but look at him come fight night compared to when he weighs in. Danny was doing the same thing I agree. It helped him in the close fight against Gennady. Please explain what a catch weight is in your eyes. I agree that in the end there is no excuse because both fighters signed the contract to fight at a certain weight. My point is that since Canelo was unable to make 154 but he could make 155 he would have a slight advantage come fight night and come in a lot heavier than his opponents. I am saying Canelo has stamina problems and I do not know if they are attributed to him cutting weight so much.
