Post your top-5 Young HW prospects

    I’ll go with:

    1. Dubois (still needs a lot of work and growing to do apart from his great jab).

    2. Tony Yoka (Chin is questionable but he’s decent).

    3. Hrgovic (decent but slow and always open to be hit).

    4. Bakole (raw power but needs a lot of work).

    5. Makmudov (still needs a lot of work).

    1. Sonny Conto

    2. David Adeleye

    3. Vlad Sirenko

    4. Victor Faust

    5. Arslen Mahkmudov

Some of the ones you chose aren’t really prospects at this point . I wouldn’t rate anyone a prospect if they are in a top spots in sanctioning bodies .

They haven’t beaten anyone with a pulse. So they are still prospects at this point.

I like Sirenko and Adeleye thus far but they’re still novice. And I already mentioned the beat “Makmudov”.

You don’t really judge solely on records ,it’s clear Hrgovic and DDD are formidable they have high rankings . No one expects them to lose to other unknowns so they don’t really go under the prospect label other wise my list would look like this if I went on your criteria .

        1. Hrgovic

        2. Joyce

        3. DDD

        4. Wallin

        5. Hughie Fury

These guys are not prospects at this point certainly not if you fought ina world title fight . They wouldn’t qualify as prospects, look at my list that’s what prospects are .
Yoka , Mahkmudov and Bakole are prospects as right now .

Makhmudov is pretty old, but I see him as bigger threat than Hrgovic and Ajagba.

I only have one and that is Dubois. I guess Joyce is also a prospect but damn, he is 35 years old. He spent too much time as an amateur and was already past his physical prime when he first turned pro.

Not impressed with any of them, really.

I still think heavyweight is a three to five man division, depending on how fat Ruiz is or whether the geezers like Ortiz or Povetkin can keep getting Ws.
