Wilder's rep has taken a beating since his loss to Fury but he has that KO power and there's always a punchers chance.

What if he's outclassed by Fury again for 10 or 11 rounds and gets the drop on Fury in the 12th.

What does that change? Is Wilder suddenly the man again?

That makes him WBC champ again but almost ensured a fourth fight after a unification happens.

Well - results matter at the end of the day. I dont think Wilder will ever be in danger of being the better fighter. I think someone like Wilder will be judged on how often they were able to land the equaliser on good competition in their biggest fights. It would say a lot about his character if he did that in the scenario you presented. To get out boxed and beaten up for the better part of 30+ rounds and still have the belief, stay in there and pull it out would be impressive.

        What's a "lucky shot"?

I don't necessarily believe in that concept in the way most folks frame it. If Wilder wins he wins & yea he's the man with the belt again.

I mean if there is some sorta foul or something where Fury gets stopped officially when it shoulda been a DQ win for Fury or a no contest then my stance might change.

what if Wilder knocks him out beause Fury is busy showboating and mocking him, a la Anderson Silva?

            it could happen

then it'd be a lucky shot, because Wilder was lucky that Fury started to behave in ****** fashion and lost focus

I like both guy's and I think Fury will win again, the son of a ***** tasted Wilders blood he is in Wilders head for real.

BUT if Wilder isn't mentally ****ed he is always dangerous. Can't box for **** but that power is real.

If he knocks Fury out (only hope. he isn't going to outbox Fury) then like others said, he is the champion.

I mean if Fury does Fury sh^t like he does in damn near every fight is the W somehow a fluke W?

I definitely wouldn't see that as some sorta fluke or lucky shot in that case.

I didn't even view that Weidman win over Spider as a lucky shot or situation. I'd call that Yair Rodriguez elbow to The Korean Zombie a lucky shot doe. That was fooking insane & idk if literally one person seen that coming.

There are no lucky shots in boxing. Maybe if you slipped on the canvas, put your hands out too balance yourself and ending up hitting your opponent in the process.

If you are aiming a punch at your opponent and it lands how can it be lucky?

I still want Wilder vs Joshua. I'd take Wilder to win by KO and think Joshua is made for him. I think Fury has a lot of top prospects coming through can he can start facing, such as Hrgovic and Dubois, and still Joshua 1+2 likely, and Wilder 3. I just think Wilder vs Joshua would be explosive and probably over inside 3 rounds.
