Must be nice to be MANDATORY for a HW belt w/o out fighting any HW with a pulse!

How about taking a leaf from the book of Evander Holyfield. I guess that is asking too much.

I always feel that the belt is not as significant as the person you defeated for the belt!

Jermall Charlo has the WBC belt, and so does Devin Haney, but it's irrelevant because Charlo didn't beat Canelo or GGG for the MW title, and Devin Haney didn't beat Lomachenko for the title! Bud Crawford has a belt, but he didn't beat Pacquiao for it, he beat Jeff Horn! Who cares?

So when you think about Wilder dropping Fury like a bad habit, and Wallin cutting up Fury's face, then Fury beating up Wilder like a pinata, do you really want to risk watching Fury or Wilder fight someone else after the trilogy, just to keep the WBO title? That would be very risky! It would be better to go immediately after the Fury vs. Wilder winner, at all costs! A victory over either of them is much more significant than keeping the WBO title!

So Fury gets cut once from a nothing punch and easily manages to do wrestling and fight Wilder a few months later...... don't care....... I'm sick of champs not fighting their mandatories and clearing them.

Joshua is so inactive for a 3-belt holder....... and Fury wants to stay active.

I wanted him to fight Whyte after Wilder, don't care.

The reason they were so adverse to that fight is it woud have went to purse bid and Hearn would have put it on Sky. Now they can cal the shots I still would like Fury to fight the Povetkin/Whyte winner after Wilder..... get rid of that ****** interim-champion.

The timeline works and gives covid a chance to clear up and get fans back 100% capacity.

Summer next year is easily done and realistic. Gives Joshua a couple good wins and Fury as well....... going into the biggest HW fight ever.

Put a fighter with a belt and the same fighter w/o a belt and ask the contenders who they would rather fight for the same $$$.

As devalued as they have become, belts still have a (marketing) place.

Canelo, GGG , Loma Manny Pac did not have to beat someone "relevant" to become relevant. They charted their own course over time.

Any fighter with talent and dedication can chart their own course.

All of Hearn's comments on this are pointless. The WBO has consistently allowed for unification to supercede a mandatory so Usyk will prob fight the winner of Povetkin vs Whyte 2, if he gets past Chisora, while Joshua vs likely Fury plays out.

It's not like Usyk has been avoided by Joshua! Usyk has not fought a legit HW yet! How about Joshua unifies with Fury/Wilder winner, then that winner fights Usyk, somewhere down the line?

Good chance we won't see AJ vs Fury for awhile then. Or any full unification cuz I suspect Usyk beats AJ & then AJ will have a built in rematch clause that leaves Fury waiting.

Still questions about Usyk at HW so it by no means is a lock Usyk wins, & I suspect overwhelmingly fans will pick AJ to win, but if Usyk hasn't lost too much with the weight gain or his chin just can't at HW at minimum he's a threat to win.

Petrified because they know Fury ends their cash cow and Sky have no more PPV fighters on the horizon.
I’d pick Usyk to beat AJ too though

I'm rooting for this even if I'd like to see Usyk get his opportunity.

Do you get upset when any fighter moves up and fights for another title? Or just this time?
