I believe Usyk can beat AJ too, I’m sure he also thinks it.
Fury has also said he’s not confident him v AJ happens if AJ has to fight Usyk first.
If I was Usyk, I wouldn’t be stepping aside for anybody. What’s his option, step aside for a year while Fury and AJ fight twice then fight the winner? Fury will be the winner and Usyk will end up in a more difficult fight for the titles.
Usyk is also the older man and been injury prone. He can’t afford to volunteer to wait around.Comment

"There is always the possibility that Joshua will drop the WBO title in order to move forward with a very lucrative two fight series against Fury."
That's exactly what he should do, if he beats Pulev, and Fury beats Wilder! Beating Fury would be worth it!Comment

Who cares in waiting a few month longer? AJ should be fighting more regularly any way with 3 belts, if he genuinely wants to be undisputed. Him losing put it back 6 months at least. He could have cleare Ruiz and Pulev quicker before covid hit. Fighting every 6-9 months just gives him the excuse and there's always a mando to clear.
Should start arranging the Usyk fight for late march early April..... so we can get an undisputed in July,August,September time.
Likely will have a vaccine by then and can fill out a stadium.Comment

Why though? just fight Usyk and get an undisputed in the summer. These guys have had enough breaks. They can fight every 3 months.Comment

... even if Fury somehow vacates the WBC strap, he still holds the "Ring" belt and the TBRB "lineal' status...Comment

Absolutely but Eddie was saying a few weeks ago that Joshua just wants to WBC belt regardless of who owns it because he wants all the belts.
So if he vacated one of his then this whole “dream” was a lie or excuse to use when it suits.Comment
