Who said he would stop Garcia?

Garcia has never been knocked down or even seriously rocked in a fight. He's got one of the best chins in boxing. I would expect Spence to win by UD if he does win.

Pretty sure Thurman rocked him hard. Even Danny admitted it in the podcast he had not too long ago.

The overhand right that rocked Garcia was brutal and i'm surprised DSG didn't go down, no bambi legs. Just visibly hurt but legs were still solid and he was defending himself. Also, despite being rocked hard early, it was DSG who finished off the fight strong and Thurman was on his bike, looking visibly exhausted from trading punches with DSG.

He's been hit hard like most other boxers in history but the guys who rocked him, the punch landed on him could have done worse to other boxers with lesser chins. When he takes a hard punch, you can tell how solid he is, it's like his head is made of rocks. Of course you can visibly shake him but he takes a punch well and he's difficult to actually put down. DSG, Canelo, and GGG have a lot of similarities in their reactions to hard, flush punches landed on them. Like you can tell they were hurt but you don't see it in their legs. They just stay solid, very hard to do when your brain wants you to take a knee and regain your composure.

I remember the majority of BS said Matthysse will blast DSG in under 6 rounds. Well, Matthysse threw everything at him and never put him down not even once. Spence will likely beat him in a 12 round decision where he will likely have to outbox Garcia. It's not wise to trade with him.

He has been rocked hard in that Thurman fight at least 2-3 times he said. And the most powerful one that landed, felt like his soul left his body momentarily he said (out of body experience?).

Anyways, I don't think Danny will ever be dropped. He has six toes. His feet will always stay planted.

Spence will not probably be able to hurt Danny the way Thurman did.

Peterson was really beating the sht out of Danny, and seemed to have stunned him at one point. If people think Spence can stop him it’s because they are thinking of the pressure and workrate he can bring to Garcia. But I’m not sure Spence is that brave to attack like that vs a non-feather duster.

What podcast? With Brian Custer? Cause if that's the one, I listened to the whole thing & I don't remember that.

I've heard him mention that punch a few times over the years & the most he says is "he caught me with a good shot." The punch looked like more than it was cause of the momentum Thurman swung with & iirc DSG was throwing a hook at the same time. He was never visibility hurt or on shaky legs.

Decision is the most likely outcome but both have enough on their punches that they can hurt or drop the other if they land clean.

Regarding Danny Garcia though, he has shown a solid chin when taking solid punches. The most visibly stunned I have seen him was in the 12th round of the Zab Judah fight. Judah moved or slipped a shot and Danny lost track of him for a split second and Judah caught him while he wasn't focused on him. That is the most I have seen Danny hurt and that was by a shot he was basically blindsided by.

Don’t remember the 12th, but I know he was hurt in the 10th. I believe. No blindside neither. His guard just didn’t get there in time.

Matthysse hurt him pretty good early on too. Had him drooling and refusing to break the clinch.
