Whoa pump the brakes I picked Whyte for the knockout and was glad to see it but I dont think the rematch benefits Povetkin as much as it does Whyte. Age is one hell of a factor in a turnaround this fast.

At least Whyte fights decent opponents and doesn't only pick nobodies like a former paper champion who will remain nameless (nobody will remember his name anyway in a couple of months).
Analjuice, your love for Dillian is clear.

He got dropped by "maximum violence" geriatric and exposed again.

Whyte will be forever known for turning down world title fights, being a peds cheat, fouling , and cherry picks gone wrong.

Yeah you're right age does play a factor but Povetkin has never been badly knocked out Whyte has twice and he is much younger coming back that fast from a KO like that is not good.

I was watching this fight live at work, I must say he was doing al right leading up then when he knocked down povetkin twice I thought hmmm he seems to be the better fighter...

then later I was proven wrong when povetkin did a well timed punch and it was all over, interesting match up and indeed as will be the rematch

This is such an intriguing rematch.
White had largely controlled the fight and was boxing well.
Planning to go into the mid to later rounds to weaken Povetkin.

White scored two knockdowns. I don't think he even planned to do that early in the fight. And Povetkin was right there for the taking.

So the problems for White was not the game plan, not the stamina. Everything was perfect.

It's Povetkin that has to figure out what went wrong as he is the technician that was out-boxed before the combination he practiced in training got him 'out of jail'.

In also have not seen White knocked out cold with one single punch. So psychologically that may be a factor as well.

Rivas is still waiting for an apology and a rematch. Off the juice, Whyte can’t carry Charles Martin’s jock strap

Yes, I don't like White because he talks too much out of the ring and PED use.

But he has improved his boxing over time and was 99% close to wrapping up Povetkin win.
I don't consider Povetkin top fighter anymore.
But he is class, and he has power.

Very interested to see how the re-match pans out.

Just curious. Do you dislike Fury as well because of PED use? A lot of guys on here have double standards when it comes to Fury and Nandrolone

Last 4-5 fights I watched, Fury was definitely OFF any PEDs.
Incidentally that's when I began appreciating his boxing.

No, I didn't know about Fury and nandrolone before.
But have have just read up about it now.

I disliked or didn't appreciate Tyson Fury because he wasn't a HW destroyer.
When I had a closer look at his fights, I was very impressed with his physical gifts and boxing IQ.
