Confidence. He definitely has it. This is a serious fight, though I would be shocked if Charlo loses. Beyond Alvarez and Golovkin, I am not sure who at 160 actual helps Charlo become a Household name. And lets face it, Alvarez will fight whom he wants and when, and Charlo is not on his radar. Golovkin is still formidable even if he is not anywhere close to what he was three years ago. I doubt he wants any part of a Charlo fight if he can get round 3 with Canelo.

Charlo may be able to drive this boat, I just do not think there are any fighters right now to help him make waves with anyone but us boxing fans.

Agreed! And I like Poo Poo as a fighter but he needs to chill with the entitlement.

If you have a title and nobody cares to fight you, you're either too much of a threat or you you really don't bring any money to the negotiation table.

Jermall is not better than Canelo, not better than an older GGG, not even better than Andrade, and probably not better than Derevyanchenko. I still have Jermall 4th or 5th depending on outcome of next fight.

Charlo is an official PBC couch potato until he takes on at least 3 top five fights in the next year.

If he fights Andrade, Eubank, Canelo, Munguia, BJS, then I will give him respect, win or lose. He's had the one of the softest rides to a title I can recall.

Doesn't he ask himself 'am I the best MW in the world right now?' - because at his age, with his natural ability he ought to be ignoring the PBC blueprint of fighting a ranked bum once a year and get in their and show us who you really are.

The greatest fighter's have all had to take that leap of faith, and win lose or draw - they earn't the most priceless commodity of all - Respect.
And Boy, you currently have zero on that ledger.

To all of those just getting in to boxing, run!
the franchise belt is a made up title, to ensure canelo doesn't fight the real threats at 160.
