I really dislike Hamed but I'm not gonna pretend that was the best version of Hamed, he lost his edge and left it about 3 years before the barerra fight.
Prime example of a disliked fighter being allowed zero context for a poor performance.
I believe Hamed a year or two earlier would’ve beaten Barrera but his hands were shot to bits And he was never training properly by the time they fought.
So I doubt a rematch would’ve gone much different by that point.
In his prime he was one of the most naturally gifted boxers I've ever seen and would likely have beaten Barrera. However, Hamed wouldn't have won a rematch at that stage of his career (look at his return bout versus Calvo for instance), he'd cashed out and mentally checked out by that point.
Did you guys actually watch Hamed or just his YouTube HLs?
The guy was flawed as fuxxxk always getting wobbled and knocked down chin in the air no combos only one shot at a time yes it worked with lower level compe but the moment he faced an elite top fighter we all seen what happened.

Barrera whoops Hamed all day every day.
Shows you have little knowledge other than your usual Mexican bias to fall back on. Under Ingle not Steward his unorthodoxy was mastered which is why he went through a string of excellent fighters like Medina, Vasquez, Johnson when he was pretty much untouchable. The Kelley fight you refer to was where ego and hype went before any technique, but there was never another fight like that.
He wouldn't have beaten Barrera in a rematch, but an Ingle trained Hamed would have been a far different proposition.

Hahahaha
Ok I can say that too. You obviously have no real boxing knowledge besides being biased toward Brits.
Hamed with or with Ingle was not gonna beat Barrera, style was all bad for him plain and simple.
Cmon man Vasquez was well past it when he faced Hamed and Boom boom Jonson was not on Hameds and MABs level.
Hamed was gifted physically but he always lacked text book skill that you could see from his early days.

Which is why Steward didn't compliment him at all. Hamed without Ingle was like Tyson without D'Amato, ergo nothing like the fighter he had been.
Ricardo Lopez was my favourite fighters, so no, there is no Brit bias. However, you can't escape seeing everything through the Latino lense which destroys any objectivity.
