Johson has power, but most importantly, Beterbiev had 0 respect for him and came in like an animal, thus he got caught. But he got up and finished him.

He won't make that mistake against Smith.

Maybe he won't make that mistake against JSJ but the Johnson knockdown was when he shouldn't have made the same mistake twice because Page Jr. got to him as well. Although Page Jr. and Johnson had some success early, to Beterbiev's credit they were both stopped.

Joe Smith can **** and is tough as nails, that's what makes this potential match-up so interesting.

Smith's a tough guy for sure. But tougher than Beterbiev? I'm not too sure on that one.
Their styles will make for a good exciting fight but, unless Smith can catch him cleanly early on, I think Beterbiev has a higher level of boxing ability which will prove the deciding factor.
I'd love me to see the fight though!!

Not to say that beterbiev isnt a tough guy but Joe smith has fought twice with a broken jaw. Just sayin.

I like it. Not many guys running towards a fight with Beterbiev but Smith sounds like he wants it and sounds like he has some confidence
in his chances as well.

I think Beterbiev will win but Smith is probably the most dangerous opponent for him out there ATM. The toughness combined with the dynamite in his fists makes him a live dog.

There are more skilled guys out there at LHW but it's gonna take a different skillset to really give Artur problems (IMO). He showed that in the Gvozdyk fight; If you can't hurt him, he will eventually break you down. I think Smith's toughness can buy him enough time to possibly land some dynamite on Artur and dent that chin.

After picking against Joe Smith Jr twice his last 2 fights I said I'd never doubt him again. You're not making this easy on me Joe but I will back you if and when this fight materializes.

I’ve been saying the light heavyweight division is fire!!! These guys will actually unify unlike the lame welterweight division who don’t wanna fight each other. Smith is good, but Beterbiev really is something. He can give every boxer in his weight class a bad night.
