I hear people saying that they want to see a Crawford/Spence fight but what has Bud done to either earn or deserve such a fight? In other words, who were some of these top five monster contenders in the welterweight division that he's fought and defeated; To be in the running or even be mentioned in the same breath for a potential Spence fight?

He has done enough to where Porter will turn down a mandatory WBO title shot to wait for Errol Spence to throw some crumbs his way. You think he would be turning down that WBO if it was Jeff Horn or Amir Khan holding it? Challenging for the WBO belt right now comes with an ass whooping and Shawn knows that. So he gonna sit on the shelf waiting for Spence to defend against Danny, then defend against the interim IBF champ, and finally get around to rematching Shawn as the WBC mandatory.

No, this is much greater than that. Porter isn't afraid of no man. It has more to do with Al Haymon and the PBC that is preventing this mandatory challenge from happening.

The very possessive Al Haymon wants to keep his entire stable in house. He doesn't want to risk a purse bid to Bob Arum; Where he may end up losing and having Shawn Porter fighting on ESPN instead of one of his own platforms like Showtime or Fox.

Of course he has been told he would get the winner. Like i said before, PBC aren't in the business of working with others, unless it would benefit them like when Wilder first cherrypicked an unfit Fury.
