Green K for that! Javan Sugar
Hill Steward it is. Thank you for the amswer to that one. I believe it was buried way deep down in my memory bank.

I think the word "trilogy" is vastly overused. Does it make those using it appear more "scholarly"...Why not use the logical term and just say, "their third fight".(it's even 2 letters shorter) In accounts of multi fights between the same two fighters in past years, the word trilogy never appeared.

It reminds me of the guy who was talking about bigamy. his listener asked what if he's married to a third woman as well.... So the guy answers proudly.."that's called trignometry"..

I thought the same , be a trainer in your own Right, do not live off your uncles name . At least Hearn has the birthright of his name .

"Trilogy" is a far better term than "their third fight", which is awkward to say in comparison.
Trilogy doesn't mean the same as "fight" so you would have to use "the" or "their" third fight which is at least 6 more letters to write.

It isn't that "trilogy" is scholarly, it's that "their third fight" is clunky and cumbersome.
We shouldn't be dumbing down the English language for the benefit of the lazy brained, they should elevate their vocabulary instead.

Fury ain't playing games, and the scary thing is, he's still improving.

Kronk Fury will demolish all opposition.

Really? Language is in a state of constant evolution, man - no point in getting precious about it. So long as people understand the meaning that is being conveyed the most bastardised of pidgins is just as valid as the Queen's own.

Yeah so tri-logy was originally about books, but I think that firstly, as long as everyone knows what its being meant there's no issue, and that secondly from it's root meaning trilogy refers to three 'stories' or 'accounts' in context... which ain't a bad way of looking at it.

If you wanted to get fancy of course, you could always run with something like tritomachia 'the third fight', or go with the Russian troika (a group of three) or trinity or refer to it's latin root for 'tertial'... but why bother?

Youre right, but these are the kind of people who have to refer to the "coronavirus pandemic" in literally every article, as if we all don't know whats been going on all year. As for trignomatry, thats sounds like a special kind of hell lol.

It’s scary mate. Spine tingling just thinking about him putting a beating on anybody in his way.

Obviously he’s always been a very confident boxer but now I think he’s fully self assured that he can outbox anybody if needed and also stop them now if he wants. He’s going to be unstoppable. Nobody in the division could box with him anyway and now I don’t think anybody can deal with this style he’s adopting. It’s the perfect blend of still being elusive and also really punishing fighters.

Getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

It's scary how talented his is.

How long did he have with Sugar last time? A month or so, perhaps a tad longer, and he learned and executed a completely different style of boxing, flawlessly.

I'd argue that Fury is the most talented & skilled boxer in the sport, in any division.

Imagine what he's going to be like after another couple of camps? These HWs are all going to get smashed to bits.
