I've been saying this for a while. Lomachenko shells up too much when getting pushed backwards. Gary Russel Jr and Salido exposed this.

Never reveal your strategies, just get in there and get the job done. If a reporter asks what your plan is? Just say, you will see on fight night. That's it.Comment

And to Teofimo Lopez Jr.I say, "expectation and surprise". Want an excellent example of expectation and surprise? Try Fury vs Wilder II. Whatever Wilder had thought Fury was bringing to the rematch, he certainly did not expect what he got (from Fury).Comment

If he's getting there trying to be pretty and hit and not get hit, he'd better hope that Lomachenko is completely shot because even a 70% Lomachenko can deal with him easily if he fights like this. The only time we saw Lomachenko kind of clueless in there was at spots with Salido, who really came to bring the pain and took 2 to give one. If he doesn't have that attitude and is looking to be accurate and economical and all of that, he's drastically reducing his chances of winning the fight and his only chance would the typical puncher's chance.
Aggression, high punch output, grit, chin, straight up bullying tactics using his size advantage is his best bet to win, Lomachenko, despite all his talents, is a little guy at 135 and he's been bullied and dropped before by bigger guys.Comment
