Who has Wilder beaten?

but he ducked joshua to fight ortiz in a rematch and an out of shape fury(his words)Comment

His resume would be fine if not for the fact he was a 10 defence champion.
When you have a world title that long its fair to expect a bit more than Wilder didComment

Wilder would have a puncher's chance against anyone ever at HW. Against anyone in the top 100 all-time he would probably get outboxed too. But he stops a lot of them. That's all that really needs to be said about him.Comment

He'd get outboxed by most of the current top 15.
As mentioned by someone else, if he wasn't a long standing champion you'd rate his CV reasonably highly, but he just doesn't have the CV for a guy with this title background.
That's partly on Wilder but a huge amount of blame falls on the WBC.
Their approach to mandatories is shocking.Comment

I've been calling Wilder a bum-beating fraud for years. You guys are just now catching up. Just like I am calling Fury a steroid cheating con man who is massively overrated right now. And you guys will catch up within a year if he actually fights guys in the top 30 instead of fighting Sefari, Wallin, Schwarz and the rest. Fury and Wilder both turned down career high paydays and unification from AJ and Hearn so they are chumps in my book. Plus they both only have 2 good names on their records.Comment

it seemed like we all were but then at some point that changed and people though he was legit. maybe the ortiz fight? ortiz is definitely a solid fighter but old, out of shape, and off PED's? not really that great and he looked horrible in that fight but besides that i dont really know what happeend. its like trump. he was and is still a joke but people still defend him even though he admitted to killing 200 thousand people with his negligence and lies. at least wilder didnt kill anyone, hes not good enough lolI've been calling Wilder a bum-beating fraud for years. Thank you, how is Fury the greatest thing since ice coffee cuz he beat a one dimensional fighter with one great weapon?
Let’s see him beat Wilder again without dirty fighting, beat AJ 2x, beat Luis Ortiz if he’s still around, beat Povetkin, beat Whyte, beat Dubois or Joyce an the other upcoming fighters first before proclaiming all this hype!
Yes he’s the first to defeat Wilder but he had to resort to fighting dirty to help him achieve the victory, it’s a good win but it’s not an All time great win like y’all Wilder haters an fake Fury fans talk it up as!Comment

Well Gerald Washington was up 4-0 (admittedly after a layoff and hand injury for Wilder) before the KO. So yeah I mean he isn't boxing anyone. It just isn't his style. His style is all about setting up for the 1 big right hand and it's a good strategy because absent his last fight, he has had great stamina for a HW.He'd get outboxed by most of the current top 15.

I don't think his resume is toooo terrible and some of the fights that fell through weren't entirely his fault I think. Povetkin at least comes to mind. I'd still pick Wilder to KO anyone at HW besides Fury and he still has a puncher's chance there too imo.
I guess we will see what Wilder is over the next few years. I hope we get to see him in with AJ and Whyte (if anyone still thinks Whyte takes him, that is).Comment
