It's all an act. Remember the fake beef with Floyd and Dana before the McGregor fight was signed?

Hell no it is NOT! Nothing fake about this one at all. This back and forth been going on for years and it is because Oscar as well as Bob Arum who Dana doesn't like either, both trashed the UFC repeatedly in the past

Oscar and Dana will NEVER do business together...EVER!

Yes he promotes himself now, all he needs is a manager and a good lawyer to check over contracts etc

Floyd and Dana went back and forth for years since when Dana used to carry the bags and then got a big head.

I'm telling you, it's all smoke.

He's so full of himself he thinks he can do miracles in this sport.

I don't hate the idea, but I'd rather see Canelo do the Floyd blueprint of not signing a deal with a promoter & just freelancing out fight by fight. And Dana could be the guy to defacto run "Canelo Promotions" in conjunction with Zuffa Promotions.

I don't see the point of the biggest name in the game needing a long term multi fight promotional contract. I was surprised he signed the last deal with GBP honestly after all the previous GBP & Oscar bs.

If a promoter does not pay a boxer well that boxer will go over to another promoter who pays him more. White has been saying he will take over boxing for many years now but he has yet to put on a single boxing show.
Yup it just won’t work in boxing. Imagine Dana offering mikey garcia 500k for a championship fight when he just got 7mil to fight jessie ****ing vargas

LMFAO at the stuff people make up. There is 0 chance Canelo signs with White. White has been getting into boxing for years and is still weeks away from announcing that he was weeks away from announcing the team he hired. We are still waiting. White has made several comments that the reason he wants in the sport is because Promotors are underpaid.
