Floyd and Canelo could really jumpstart Zuffa Boxing and give it some legitimacy.

I hate Dana White but I'm starting to hope he can be succesful with this venture. It would be championship boxing that is completely free of the alphabet groups and the "other side of the street" promotional bullshit.

White is great as a king of the UFC. He keeps most of the money and underpays his fighters and gets away with it because the fighters have no place else to go to make even UFC money. Boxing does not work that way. If a promoter does not pay a boxer well that boxer will go over to another promoter who pays him more. White has been saying he will take over boxing for many years now but he has yet to put on a single boxing show.

If Canelo and DAZN/GBP part ways I hope he doesn’t sign with any one promotion.
Do it on a fight by fight basis. Have a bidding war for each fight and maximize his value. He can do the Mcgregor fight as a one off to boost his cred with the casuals but hopefully he see’s the best path as being his own boss.
